Search and rescue (SAR) helicopter helmet
H-CMR SAR version is an entirely WATERPROOF (IP 67) helicopter helmet The entire helmet has an IP67 rating, including the microphone and the speakers.
The H-CMR SAR version combine the advantages of the normal H-CMR (weight, sound attenuation, comfort...) with a specialized development, to meet the expectations of SAR missions or hostile environments.
Following dust and water immersion testing, all H-CMR helicopter helmet functionalities were maintained.
What is IP67?
The IP67 rating indicates the Ingress Protection (IP) numbers against water and dust.
The first IP number represents protection against dust. Range: 0 to 6
0 meaning no protection against dust and sand, and 6 meaning 100% protection against dust.
The second IP number represents protection against liquids. Range: 0 to 9
A classification of 7 indicates protection against the effects of temporary immersion at 1 meter, for 30 minutes.
